Glink for Java Server
Glink for Java server is used for central configuration and license management.
The Glink for Java server is an independent program, but part of the G&R Host Links product set. The server can run on most UNIX/Linux and Windows platforms. The server must be running in order to be able to start Glink or GlinkWeb clients configured to use the server. Glink clients can be Glink applets, Glink Web Start applications, Glink application versions or user applications using the Glink Java or .NET API and running on workstations or an application server. The configurations that are distributed to the clients are built using the Glink Administration program.
The server can also be used to dispense licenses for the Glink for Windows Enterprise Edition in environments where Glink for Windows clients share a license pool with the products mentioned above.
